MoyaApp, the South African super app, has positioned itself as a formidable competitor to Meta's WhatsApp in the region. With impressive metrics such as 10 million downloads, 6 million monthly active users, and 4 million daily active users, MoyaApp has gained prominence in the digital landscape. Noteworthy features include instant messaging, a 'Discover' section with embedded mini apps, and a secure mobile wallet. Monkey & River, collaborating with MoyaApp since October 2020, has played a pivotal role in designing and developing the MoyaPay Mobile Wallet UI and contributing to various software projects.

Delivered solutions for MoyaApp, including an iOS client, business web portal, MoyaPay business account UI, identity and access management system, statuses UI, payments API, payment gateway, support, identity and verification service for KYC compliance, Android and iOS deep linking, and function/performance upgrades for mobile apps.
