As winter chills settled in, so did the spirit of community. With warm hearts and rolled-up sleeves, our team and supporters came together to make a real difference.

How the day unfolded

On Wednesday, 9 July 2025, our offices became a hub of generosity and humanity during our Blanket & Blood Drive, held in partnership with SANBS.
From the early morning, colleagues and community members arrived at Monkey and River’s office, greeted by warm smiles, hot chocolate and the scent of fresh pancakes. The SANBS team set up smoothly, guiding donors through a safe and comfortable process. Blankets stacked up quickly at the donation station. What began as a simple drive soon turned into a celebration of compassion – a day where every small act added up to something truly powerful.

Blanket Collection Highlights

We collected over 30 new and gently used blankets for Kids Haven, a simple act with life-changing warmth for those in need. Donations were accepted throughout the weeks leading up to the drive, and the response was incredible!

Blood Donation Highlights

The on-site SANBS clinic ran from 9:00am to 15:00pm, and we’re proud to report:

14 Successful blood donations

Up to 42 lives potentially saved

2 First-time donors

25 Attendees throughout the day
